I would like to comment on your message board and Website.
First of all you should be proud or both, the only problem I can see... is the lack of "Local" participation, especially the executive committee. The message board is an excellent medium for instant information sharing. Keeping the rank and file informed is a very positive and powerful tool. I recommend all Local 680 members join and become an active member.

Thanks for your comments. They are greatly needed here. If members would just take the time to get just a little involved in their Unions, who knows what we could do.
A message board is a great tool for information as the one on the Local 21 website. Byron and others do a great job on keeping everyone updated on issues at their mill through the website and message board. I would suggest that people just take a minute to look at the message board from both locals. I hope to have more of the Locals listed on our website to let others know what is going on at our other sister mills.

Hey David,
I know you and the E-board are really busy trying to get things worked out at the mill with the layoffs and cutback etc. And I appreciate your hard work.
But, since I just joined up on your website I wanted to take the time to compliment you. This is a great website and a great communication tool for all of us union brothers and sisters to keep up to date on what is going on!

I'm glad you like it. I will try and keep it updated when I can. Your right about the communication tool. Now all I have to do is get more of the membership involved in it. The more we get the better off we will be.
I'll be talking to some of the people on the machine Monday. Let them know about the 2 yr. recall and a few other issues.
